How we keep prices down
We started Excel Interiors after paying too much to upgrade our own kitchens. So we learned the trade ourselves.
Many kitchen companies pass fitting on to subcontractors and add a margin. Our founders fit kitchens themselves, and our fitters are on a monthly salary instead of being paid per job. That saving comes off your quote.

Why are you cheaper than other companies?
We learned the trade ourselves and do all fitting in-house. Many installation companies charge more because they outsource fitting. Our fitters are paid a fixed monthly salary instead of per job, which keeps the cost of each project down, and we pass that on.
How long does fitting take?
It depends on the size of the room, the materials and how complex the design is. Kitchens usually take 2–5 days. Most wardrobes are done in a day.
Do you take out the old kitchen?
Yes. Mention it when you ask for a quote and we'll include it.
Can you just fit a kitchen I've already bought?
Yes. If your units and appliances are ready, we can usually book a fitter within a week and finish in 2–5 days.
Can I see the design before I pay?
Yes. We give you a free 3D CAD design first. If you only know your budget, we'll visit for free and show you what it can get you.
How do you make sure the quality is good?
Our materials come from the same suppliers the national kitchen and bedroom companies use, and we only hire certified fitters.
Can you fit awkward spaces?
Yes. We measure every space in full, so we can fit units and wardrobes into alcoves, under sloped ceilings and into odd corners.
Do you supply appliances?
Yes. Microwaves, fridges, dishwashers, ovens and hobs, from brands such as Siemens.
Do you offer finance?
Yes. A 20% deposit confirms your booking, and you can pay the rest with 0% interest finance.
